Bringing back the art of hosting

I’ve always believed there is something beautiful about gathering people together. The thoughtfulness of setting a table, preparing an abundance of food, and creating a space that makes each guest feel genuinely welcomed.

To me, that is the art of hosting.

In a world where time and energy often feel scarce, I created Eláva Events as a way to bring that feeling back…through intentional curation, beautiful food presentation, and details designed to evoke emotion.

I see every table as a blank canvas. Inspired by my love of art, warm neutrals, organic textures, and of course, food. I create displays that feel abundant yet considered, elevated yet inviting. Every element has a purpose: to create a focal point, set the mood, and make the gathering feel like something was thoughtfully created just for the people around it.

My love of hosting comes from my mother, who has always opened her home generously and believed there should never be a shortage of food when people gather. I’ve carried that spirit with me, adding my own love of aesthetics and design to the experience.

Because ultimately, beautiful food is only part of it.

It’s about how the space makes people feel: invited, cared for, and inspired to linger a little longer.

That’s what I hope to create with Eláva: beautifully curated spaces that turn gathering into an experience, and make room for what matters most…connection.
